Dubai, October 11, 2022: The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) today launched its `KAFAA’ efficiency platform during its participation at the ongoing GITEX Global 2022 technology expo from October 10-14 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

 QCC is part of the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at GITEX, which is led by the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority of the Department of Governmental Support, with the participation of 30 government entities.

The `KAFAA’ electronic platform, launched in partnership with the G42 Healthcare Company, aims to help achieve operational excellence by increasing efficiency, improving costs, monitoring performance and other key operational performance indicators, which are captured on a database enabling decision makers access required information for the Council’s Central  Testing Laboratory .

The `KAFAA’ has a dashboard displaying data of the services provided  in categories, including tracking the status of requests over any specified period of time, be it monthly, weekly or daily in a detailed screen format.
 
H.E. Dr. Hilal Humaid Al Kaabi, Secretary-General of the Council, said the aim of the participation at the GITEX was to familiarize the public and visitors to the Abu Dhabi government pavilion on the diverse services and innovative initiatives of digital government solutions on the Council’s integrated government services platform `Tamm.’ This is line with the directions of the Abu Dhabi Government in providing security solutions of international standards, he said, adding that this helps ensure the protection of digital infrastructure, systems and data, for a secure digital society.

He said that the launch of the KAFAA competency platform was also in line with the Council’s keenness to study and evaluate the geographical distribution of its services among the sites of the Central Testing Laboratory, and to understand the benefit of technical solutions, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), in the context of the needs of the Council’s partners. In turn, this will also help manage resources effectively, facilitating the expansion of the scope of services as per the needs of the partners, including with the involvement of the private sector in the processes of authorizing the provision of agreed services.

He said that QCC’s participation at GITEX 2022 was also aimed at reviewing the latest AI and Machine Learning technology and to identify their applications, best practices applied in technical areas that support these services, with the intention of boosting the quality infrastructure system of the Council across sectors.

His Excellency added that QCC’s mandate as reflected in its slogan `Quality for a Better Life,’ is in line with the objectives of the Government of Abu Dhabi in providing digital government solutions that supports performance and enhance the quality of life in the Emirate.
