ABU DHABI, 10th March: The Emirates Metrology Institute of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) showcased its diverse services at the Middle East Energy Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center, including electricity field and time and frequency laboratory services for the power sector.


The institute also reviewed plans to support its entry into new services focusing on the measurement and calibration capabilities in the energy sector. The institute already has advanced worldwide reputation in energy measurements, contributing to consumer protection.

His Excellency Saeed Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Emirates Metrology Institute, said: “Our participation in the exhibition presented us a valuable opportunity to review our capabilities in the energy sector and our global reputation and the role we play in this vertical. It also presented us opportunities to communicate with diverse local and regional partners in the energy vertical.”

Al-Muhairi said that at the national level, the institute provides a number of metrological services that support strengthening of the national industrial sector to raise their competitiveness in regional and global markets, and in addition achieve financial savings.

He said the institute provides over 120 metrological services to customers and strategic partners in the public and private sectors. It also renders services to customers from regional countries spanning high-efficiency measurement and calibration and excellent technical ability helping the industrial sector achieve sustainability and improved economic performance in general. .
